Ladybugs Take Flight on Austin Trail

Ladybugs Take Flight on Austin TrailA group of 7,500 ladybugs, also known as a “loveliness,” flew into the flora and fauna at Butler Trail at Lady Bird Lake this week to protect the plants and help preserve the trail’s beauty this summer. How did all 7,500 get there, you might ask?
Green Mountain employees released the ladybugs in celebration of a customer that avoids 7,500 pounds of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions each year by using solar panels to power her home!
