What is meant by the term “lower energy”? Which is lower in energy, a mixture of hydrogen an oxygen gases or liquid water? How do you know? Which of the two is more stable? How do you know?

energy is represented in elements by the movement of the particles. The faster particles move the more “warm” it is.
This means that gasses all have high enrgy as compared to solids. In your case, Liquid water has the lower energy
